Lately, I've become a bit soundtrack obsessed. I LOVE movie scores... especially the Lord of the Rings and Pirates ones. I like listening to them while studying... it helps me memorize material for some weird reason. So I was wondering, does anyone know of any other good movie scores?
Also, I have an awesome book to tell you about. The Book of Michael tells the story a boy accused of murdering his girlfriend. Although he is innocent, he is found guilty and sent to an adult prison; six months later, the real killer comes forward and Michael is released. This book focuses mainly on him trying to heal and move on in life. It was really good, but it had some mature content in it (drugs, sex, etc.). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 14.
And lastly, planning on going to the movies with 22 other people is a lot of work. A LOT. Just in case you didn't all know. And now I'm super tired so I'm going to bed. :D

I adore the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack--the new one, with Keira Knightley.
^Yes, that one is so lush! Some of my other favorites are the soundtracks from the Harry Potter movies (of course), Memoirs of a Geisha, The Painted Veil, The Triplets of Belleville, Les Choristes, The Prince of Egypt, Charade, Peter Pan, Catch Me If You Can, Finding Nemo, Good Bye Lenin!, The Secret Garden, and Cast Away.
Yep, I'm utterly in love with film scores! :D
Who's that book by? I couldn't find it by Google search...
Oh yeah, I love the P&P one too. I only have one song from HP, Nevilles Waltz, because I always tell people that my favorite character is Neville :P
The book is actually called Book of Michael, not THE book of michael, and it's by Lesley Choyce.
