Enna Burning and The Dark Knight

Firstly, I meant to post about The Dark Knight after I saw it on Friday, but I just haven't got around to it. It was a masterpiece. Health Ledger played such a creepy joker. The fact that he's dead made it even creepier, I think. I bet he'll get some kind of award.

For some reason, when I found out that there was a companion to The Goose Girl, I didn't really want to read it. Don't get me wrong, I loved The Goose Girl, but I wasn't in the mood for anymore Shannon Hale. Well, my mom got Enna Burning out of the library for me yesterday, so I figured I should read it.

Just a warning to all you guys who haven't read this book yet, there are probably going to be spoilers in this review. So heads up.

I really, really liked this book. It was a great follow up to The Goose Girl. Actually, I think I liked this book better. It was more intense, and a little darker. The idea of Enna's fire power intrigued me. The plot line attracted me way more, as did the characters. I know they are basically the same characters in both books, but Enna appeals to me as a main character more than Isi did. And I really love Enna and Finn as a couple. I already had a soft spot for Finn. Before Geric came on the scene, I wanted him and Isi to fall in love, but alas, this was not to be. Instead, Geric swept her off her feet, which I was totally okay with. So I was very happy when Finn found love. :)

YAY! I'm so glad you liked it that much! :)

Tell me you didn't swoon when Finn said that line to Enna in the tent...

I told you The Dark Knight would be fantastic...

I hope he wins a posthumous Oscar, he definitely deserves it.

I loved The Dark Knight! You're right, the Joker was completely creepy.

I'm glad that you're liking Enna Burning too.
