(Insert creative/interesting title here)

Yeah, so I haven't posted in a while due to simply being swamped by a gazillion things...
There is the most amazing, drool worthy promo pic out ever for Twilight...

It looks very photo shopped though. But who cares, I'll take it!
There's also another Robert Pattinson interview, courtesy of G4. His eyes are sparkly! Yay!

*sigh* I wish it were December. The 12th specifically.

Haha. You know you're obsessed when....
I got out A Curse Dark As Gold as recommended by Erin from the library this week and plan on reading it tonight. It looks really good, so I'll probably post on it soon. I also put a hold on Wildwood Dancing, by Juliet Marillier... like 3 weeks ago. The loser who has it out hasn't brought it back so I can't read it yet... how dare they! The insolence!
I have decided it's time to take up writing again... I haven't written anything in ages, and I was looking back at my old stories a few days ago (they're so bad it's funny) and decided I should pick up the pen again. I really enjoy it, and I have so many ideas bouncing around it my head, it's driving me crazy! Once I have an idea, it won't leave me alone until I write it down. So if you have any writing tips or suggestions or anything, I'm open to that. Actually, if anybody knows of a good place on the net to upload stories, that would be great.
Tootles :)

:) That thing about HAVING to write because of stories that won't let you be...I've heard/read several authors describe that as the only legit reason to write.

Lucky! I can't find A Curse at my library.

I don't know my librarians well enough to ask for an interlibrary loan. I haven't had time to befriend any--I mostly just wait until books on hold become available and then I go pick them up.

Oh, man, I know exactly what you're talking about... an idea pops into your head and won't leave you alone until you acknowledge it. I'd be very interested in seeing some of your work!

I post original stories (those few and far between ones I actually get to writing once in a while, hehe) and poetry on a site called fictionpress.com (it's sister sites with fanfiction.net). I find it's a good place to network with people you know already who have an account, but not a really good place to find a new following. Or maybe it's just me. ^_^

Good luck with the writing! Maybe see you on FictionPress? =D
